Pastel Portrait Commissions

Having your pet or loved commissioned is a priceless treasure for you to have for years to come. I will work with you through the process so you can see if your artwork is what you expect.

I will need the best photo to work from. The better the photo, the better I can do any detail. High quality photos are a must. Blurred or dark or too light photos will make it difficult to work from.

I use only the finest high quality pastels and paper. Pastels I use are Schminke, Terry Ludwig, Unison, NuPastel and PanPastels.
My paper I use are PastelMat, UArt and Hahnemuhle Velour paper. Your portrait will be sealed with the highest quality spray but can still smudge, so it will be best framed with glass and a mat so that the glass does not touch the artwork.

Timing is typically 4-6 days, but can be longer due to complexity of your portrait (more than one subject, background etc.) and other commissions I am working on at the time.
A 30% non refundable down payment is required. Once I receive that, I can start your commission.
